Once you decide to have lingerie shoot at home. The first step is to look for inspiration, get a feel of how you would like your pictures. Pinterest and Instagram are great places to find inspiration. Spend some time to browse or even create an inspiration board to easier visualise what you want. The ideas should be simple enough to recreate at home.
Create a mini studio
When you have an idea of what you want, to create a mini studio/setting will be next step. You want to find the least occupied area in your home so you have freedom to decorate. If you live in a tight space, you can transform an existing rooms to a "studio". Try moving around certain furnitures, adding decorations etc to bring your ideas to life.
Lights really sets the quality of your pictures. If the lighting is bad the results will very likely disappoint. To avoid this, decide the type of light you want to use. If you for example wanted to use natural light, all you would need is to shoot during daytime. To have a better control of the brightness, studio lights works best. Simpler studio/selfie lights can be found online or local gadget shops.
If you plan to shoot with your phone, a mini tripod or books will be essential to stabilise your phone on. Another option is to ask your hubby, bestie or roomie to help with take the pictures. After making all decisions its action time. Set the mood with some wine, music, candles. Laugh, smile, look mysterious, be seductive you decide how to feel. Try different poses, angles, brightnesses and most importantly have fun.
Once you feel satisfied with your pictures, to store them will be the next step. Create a file on your computer or phone to organise and protect them.
